Whether designing 3-dimensional models from scratch or reverse engineering mechanical components, our team of designers are capable of working with multiple materials. Using Solidworks or CATIA, we use built-in stress analysis to check each part’s strength and simulate movements for assemblies. We create photo-realistic renderings to help you visualize your designs.


The spray shop here at Spatial can provide any wet spray coating. Both of our spray booths measure L8.1m x W4.1m x H4m, allowing us to paint even large components in an appropriate climate-controlled environment.

Our facility is equipped with machines with a range
of different capabilities, these include;

  • 2 x VMC (Haas, Ecom)
  • 3 x 3-axis CNC router
    (Flexicam, up to 4m x 2m bed size)
  • 1 x 5-axis CNC router
    (Flexicam, up to 3m x 1.5m x 1m bed size)
  • 2 x lathes
  • 1 x Metal press
  • These machines are complemented with a suite of woodworking tools including bandsaws, table saws, drill presses and other equipment


Working with GRP is a core competency that sets us apart. Whether you require simple shapes, double finished surfaces, or split GRP mouldings to achieve easy mould release without compromising your design vision, we are able to assist.

We are able to complete virtually any tooling requirement in-house using our advanced milling capabilities to extremely tight tolerances.

We work across a variety of gel coats, resins, e-glass, carbon and Kevlar fibres according to the needs of your product and employ a variety of methods including wet lay-ups, vacuum infusion, RTM and offer post-curing where required.


We fully embrace additive manufacturing where appropriate in our products. Our deep knowledge of this emerging technology allows us to select the most appropriate technology to meet the product requirements. We produce ABS, PLA and fiberglass reinforced Onyx parts inhouse using Markforged and Creality printers. We have local partners who are able to supplement this with the latest selective laser sintering technology where surface finish is paramount.


Our electrical department is responsible for both front and back-end hardware and software components. We design, implement, assemble and commission automation systems into all our devices. To aid the design process we use the well known and powerful software EPLAN with the core of every system being Rockwell Allen-Bradley based automation. 


Our team of procurement specialists have extensive experience of managing an integrated global supply chain. We are experts at sourcing hard-to-find components and raw materials to meet exact specifications of our clients, as well as managing the delivery of these in the most cost-effective manner.
